
Language Courses
Our Language Courses are 10 weeks with two hours of in class instruction per week. The classes are in person and maintaining physical distancing. We ask that all participants wear masks to and from classes. During classes we have sneeze guards set up between learners.
American Sign Language Level I
ASL Level I is designed for beginners, no previous experience necessary.
We will start at the very beginning:

Learn the alphabet

Learn how to flow into learning proper greetings and farewells

Learn how to introduce yourself and others

Learn the basic ASL structure

Learn how to ask and answer questions

Learn the role of facial expressions and non manual signals
Foundational French
Foundational French is designed for beginners, no previous experience necessary.
We will start at the very beginning:

Learn the alphabet

Learn how to flow into learning proper greetings and farewells

Learn how to introduce yourself and others

Learn the basics of grammar and structure structure

Learn how to ask and answer questions
Foundational Spanish
Foundational Spanish is designed for beginners, no previous knowledge necessary.
In this course you will learn how to function in common situations when travelling to a Spanish speaking country.

Greetings and salutations

Spanish alphabet and phonetics

Articles, pronouns, and conjugation of regular and irregular verbs

Days of the week, months of the year, and seasons

Telling and asking the time
-
Asking and following directions

Basic common conversations when travelling to a Spanish speaking country
American Sign Language Level II
ASL Level II is a continuation from the ASL Level I course.
We will go through:

School days and Sports and Activities

Improve conversational skills
-
Learn to sign about school and life

Start learning about time and classifiers
This course is building on the foundational learning from the ASL Level I, previous ASL knowledge is encouraged.
Cree Language
The introduction to Cree Language course provides students with the opportunity to learn the basics communication skills in Cree.
Students will learn and understand the use of Cree syllabics, pronunciation, and basic communication and conversation skills such as:

Colours,

Giving and asking directions,

Introduction skills

Medical phrases in case of a medical emergency.
English Language Learning
English Language Learning is designed for individuals who would like to improve their English in writing, speaking and listening.
We customize our courses based on the participants' learning needs and use relevant, goal based learning material.
