English as a Second Language Beginnings English as a Second Language
Beginnings is a program designed for students who are just beginning to
learn the language. This class gives you the chance to practice your
spoken English. We will work on pronunciation, grammar and understanding
what you hear. Each class is planned around a specific theme or skill.
This class is held at the Cold Lake Public Library, South Branch.. Dates: January,

English as a Second Language Continues English as a Second Language
Continues gives you the chance to practice what you learned in our
Beginnings class. . We will work on progressively more difficult

English as a Second Language Reading Circle English as a Second Language
Reading Circle is a new club for ESL students who have already reached
an intermediate level of written and spoken English. On its' own or in
addition to another ESL class this program will give participants an
opportunity to practice both reading and speaking English. This class

Instructor: TBA General Interest Courses Digital Photography - Beginner and Intermediate Using a digital cameral involves more than just technical know-how... Come out and learn the basics and explore lighting, composition, depth of field and how to turn you basic shot into a fabulous shot. This two session workshop will teach you the technical and practical side of digital cameras, and will also allow you to use your creativity. This class will start once we have a minimum of 5 participants.

Willow Furniture Learn how to make a bench or a chair using native willow. Materials will be supplied. At the end of this one day workshop you will take home a bench or a chair that will be a beautiful addition to your deck or patio for years to come. We will be holding Tutor Training sessions throughout 2011. If you are interested in becoming a Tutor or you just want to learn more about tutoring adults, give us a call. Our first session will cover goal setting and planning lessons. Cost is free to our Tutors and a nominal fee will be charged to other interested individuals.
